Hand made wooden Kitchen Utensils
 

The kitchen utensils on this page are each handmade individually in my shop. They are hand crafted from the finest hardwoods and shaped to perfection. Why settle for cheap ugly kitchen utensils? These wooden spoons and spatulas are both beautiful and functional. They are made to stand up to the rigors of the kitchen with style. Every wooden spoon and spatula is finished with an FDA approved food safe finish. They should be washed with soap and water, but it's not recommended that they be put in the dishwasher. The dishwasher cycle is rough on wood utensils. It is also recommended that they not be allowed to sit in standing water for long periods of time. An occasional wipe down with normal mineral oil will help protect the wood and bring out the beauty of the grain. With minimal care they can give many years of service.

#1 Baking Spatula - This walnut spatula was hand turned on the lathe and then shaped using a bandsaw and spindle sander. It would be perfect for baking cookies. It has a nice light feel.

#2 Large Mixing Spoon - This hand turned and shaped walnut mixing spoon is equally at home mixing a batch of cookie dough or stirring a large pot of chili.

#3 Stew Spoon - This walnut spoon has an antique look to it and just seems like it belongs in a pot of stew. The grain is figured making this spoon especially striking.

#4 Mixing Spoon - This Ambrosia Maple spoon has has beautiful coloring courtesy of the Ambrosia Beetle. It has a shallow bowl and a smooth shaped handle.
